CVS Health in California offers a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role. The 16‑week, self-paced program blends virtual and hands-on learning with guidance from the District Leader, HR Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager.

SMIT participants gain leadership experience, complete Key Learning Experiences, and contribute to a store team while upholding CVS values and policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Retail management experience or CVS supervisor experience.
• Willingness to relocate/promote within the designated market.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop store team in alignment with CVS values.
• Execute merchandising strategies to drive sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Be willing to transfer to other CVS locations within the designated market.
