Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a store leadership professional in Bourbonnais, IL to plan, direct and supervise daily operations. You will mentor staff, drive sales, enforce customer service standards, and ensure the store presents well during peak hours.

The role requires 1 year of management experience, 2–3 years in retail, and the ability to lead teams across multiple departments while maintaining Meijer standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and supervise team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Manage staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Address disciplinary actions and recommend discharge when needed.
• Own P&L, achieve sales targets and minimize shrink.
• Ensure consistent, fast, friendly customer service and store standards.
• Train staff on all required duties and company programs.
