Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program designed to prepare participants for a CVS Store Manager role. The 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training includes virtual and hands-on experiences and coaching from a District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager.

You will learn to communicate effectively, drive customer care, implement merchandising strategies, and manage inventory while upholding CVS values and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a four-year college degree is preferred or relevant experience may be considered.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to lead your team.
• Experience in retail management or CVS supervisory roles is a plus.
• Ability to relocate/promote within designated market.

Responsibilities

• Support store leadership team and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies.
• Engage colleagues to support the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
• Deliver high levels of customer care and service to shoppers.
