Job summary

Siemens is seeking candidates for the Power Protection and Automation Engineering Development Program based in Wendell, NC. You will join a one-year program with two six-month rotations across Protection and Automation, gaining hands-on experience in substation protection, automation, and grid technologies.

The program offers structured training, field assignments across the U.S., and a path to the Solutions Engineering team after completion.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed bachelor’s/master’s degree in Electrical/Power Engineering or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 38 weeks/year across the U.S. for field experience.
• Relocation to Wendell, NC; relocation assistance provided if over 50 miles.

Responsibilities

• Complete two six-month technical rotations (Protection and Automation).
• Support substation projects across the U.S. including testing and commissioning.
• Transition to Solutions Engineering with a focused area after program end.
