Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking an accomplished Assistant General Manager in Albuquerque, NM to prepare for a General Manager role. You will lead daily hotel operations alongside an experienced GM, gain exposure to finance, revenue strategy, owner relations, and company initiatives, and receive mentorship from senior leaders.

This high-responsibility role emphasizes property-wide leadership, with advancement based on performance and readiness within Heritage.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience in a full-service hotel with multi-department responsibility.
• Readiness to move beyond department-level leadership and make decisions for the entire property.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, and Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, Facilities, and other property departments.
• Maintain a highly visible leadership presence and model professionalism and service excellence.
• Lead and coach department leaders for guest satisfaction, team engagement, and financial performance.
• Partner with the General Manager to execute property strategies, budgets, and performance objectives.
• Review occupancy forecasts and event schedules to ensure staffing and service readiness.
• Use financial results and performance metrics to identify risks and drive improvements.
• Participate in revenue strategy, labor planning, and expense management decisions.
• Lead cross-functional planning for a seamless guest experience.
• Serve as primary escalation point for complex guest, employee, and operational matters.
• Support recruitment and succession planning of hotel leaders and teams.
