Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts in New Mexico is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily hotel operations alongside the General Manager, developing high-performing teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee Rooms, Food & Beverage, Banquets, and Facilities, manage budgets and labor planning, and drive revenue strategies. This role offers a path toward General Manager within a culture rooted in community pride.

Qualifications

• Leadership and influence across multiple departments.
• Strong understanding of full-service hotel operations (Rooms, F&B, Banquets, Facilities).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with executives and guests.
• Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Experience managing labor, schedules and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a highly visible leadership presence across the property.
• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations to ensure consistency and brand standards.
• Partner with the General Manager to execute strategies, plans, and performance objectives.
• Review occupancy forecasts and event schedules to ensure staffing and readiness.
• Lead Rooms, F&B, Banquets, and Facilities teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Support revenue performance through guest experience and operational efficiency.
