Job summary

Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Assistant General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and develop into a future General Manager within the portfolio.

Working with an experienced General Manager, you will lead Rooms, F&B, Banquets, and Facilities, coach department leaders, and drive guest satisfaction, financial performance, and strategic initiatives across a luxury hotel environment in New Mexico.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership across multiple departments including Rooms, F&B, Banquets, and Facilities.
• Solid financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting and cost control experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with executive audiences.
• Experience managing labor, performance metrics and operational KPIs.
• Ability to influence, coach and develop department leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations to ensure consistency and brand standards.
• Collaborate with the General Manager on business plans and performance objectives.
• Lead staff development, recruitment, training and engagement.
• Monitor occupancy, groups, events, staffing, and service readiness.
• Drive guest satisfaction, revenue optimization, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, labor, and brand requirements.
• Manage budgets, labor forecasting, and expenses; lead monthly reviews.
