BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Assistant Club Manager in Training (AMIT) to develop leadership and drive club performance across departments. The role prepares you for one of three paths: Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience, with focused development and on-the-job coaching to build future store leaders.

As MOD when needed, you’ll ensure policy execution, guest satisfaction, and safe, efficient operations, while training teammates and strengthening talent.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations management.
• Strong drive for results and solid work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to lead and motivate a large team.

Responsibilities

• Provide Strategic Department Leadership across Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience.
• Oversee Labor Planning and Scheduling to align with trends and budgets.
• Drive Sales, Inventory Control, and shrink reduction.
• Lead internal/external audits and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Develop talent and succession planning; mentor future leaders.
