Job summary

Alpine Bank seeks an Officer Trainee in Colorado to move toward a Banking Officer role. The year-long program covers teller operations, new accounts, and back-office training across multiple Alpine Bank locations, including Grand Junction and Loan Operations.

Participants receive mentoring, develop leadership and communication skills, and work toward advancing the bank’s vision, with mandatory on-site attendance and a pathway to promotion upon successful completion of all phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Preferred degrees in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license required.
• Possession or ability to obtain an NMLS license.

Responsibilities

• Participates in all elements of the Officer training program.
• Learn teller transactions and return to the teller line.
• Attend New Accounts training and open new accounts.
• Gain understanding of back office functions including Bookkeeping, Compliance, Audit, Fraud, Wires, and Consumer Loans.
• Travel to Grand Junction and to Loan Operations center to learn related departments.
