Job summary

Alpine Bank is seeking an Officer Trainee in Colorado to start a one-year training program designed to prepare you for a future Lending Officer role. You will rotate through teller, new accounts, back-office operations, and loan operations, with travel to Grand Junction and other centers.

No experience is required, but you must demonstrate leadership, strong communication, and teamwork. The program emphasizes growth, mentoring, and exceptional customer service within a supportive Alpine Bank

Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree with a 3.0 GPA or above is required.
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar is preferred.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid Colorado Driver's License, required.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid NMLS License, required.

Responsibilities

Attend and complete the Officer training program across multiple locations.
Learn teller transactions and return to the teller line.
Attend New Accounts training and open new accounts.
Learn back-office functions including Bookkeeping, Compliance, Audit, Fraud, Wires, Collections and Consumer Loans.
Travel to Grand Junction and to Loan Operations to understand related departments.
Learn the bank's lending functions and be promoted to a banking officer after completing all phases.
