Job summary

Lockton’s Associate Account Manager Program is a two-year training track for recent graduates, combining formal training with hands-on client experience. Starting salary is competitive, with exposure to marketing, servicing, and renewal of Commercial Insurance accounts. Program starts January and June 2026, with potential advancement to Account Manager after completion.

You will negotiate with carriers, assist in market selection, review opportunities, and build client relationships across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum 3.3 GPA.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel).
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to attend meetings and industry trainings as needed.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Participates in negotiations with carriers for new and renewal quotes with oversight.
• Collaborates with senior staff to select markets for submission and quotes.
• Reviews business opportunity information and provides recommendations.
• Maintains relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors.
• Reviews quotes, binders, endorsements and requests changes as needed.
• Updates client information and policy details as year changes occur.
• Informs clients of changes affecting premiums or coverage.
• Enters client data into the data management system accurately.
• Generates materials for client presentations and meetings.
• Creates and sends compliance communications as needed.
• Performs other responsibilities as required.
