Havertys is seeking Retail Furniture Sales Consultants to help customers choose furniture and create a welcoming home, leveraging product knowledge and selling skills.

The role offers a strong earning opportunity, with a base income through training and an uncapped commission structure, plus benefits and scheduling that includes nights and weekends.

You will work in a dynamic team, use company tablets, and contribute to customer satisfaction while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer communications.
• Positive and engaging personality.
• Creative flair and energetic attitude.
• Proficient in resolving objections and ensuring satisfaction.
• Familiarity with a broad range of furniture styles preferred.
• Computer proficiency including email; MS Office knowledge; Tablet/iPad operation preferred.
• Relevant experience preferred but not required.
• High School diploma or GED; college education preferred; or 1-3 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service from contact through delivery.
• Demonstrate professional communication and relationship-building.
• Collaborate with Interior Design Consultant to enhance rooms.
• Reinforce customer selections and complete room looks.
• Provide product, service, and finance expertise.
• Use company tablets and CRM for client data and follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of furniture styles and products.
