Havertys Furniture seeks a Retail Furniture Sales Consultant to help customers select furniture and create welcoming homes. You will drive sales while supporting a team-focused environment, meeting and exceeding goals.

The role offers paid training, an uncapped commission structure with guaranteed base income, and opportunities to grow within the company. Nights/weekends required; benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer communications.
• Positive and engaging personality.
• Creative flair and energetic attitude.
• Proficient in resolving customer objections and ensuring satisfaction.
• Familiarity with a broad range of furniture styles and products preferred but not required.
• Computer proficiency including email experience; MS Office knowledge preferred; Tablet/iPad use strongly preferred.
• Interior Design is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers from contact through delivery and beyond.
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Build relationships with customers independently and with Interior Design Consultant support.
• Reinforce customer selections and complete the look of their rooms.
• Provide product, service, and finance expertise based on customer needs.
• Use company tablets and proprietary technology for communication.
• Enter client information into the CRM and provide follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of furniture styles and products.
