Havertys Furniture is seeking a driven Retail Furniture Sales Consultant to help customers select furniture and create warm, inviting homes. You will work to meet sales goals while delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer communications simultaneously.
• Positive and engaging personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Creative flair and energetic attitude to engage customers.
• Proficient in resolving customer objections and ensuring satisfaction.
• Familiarity with a broad range of furniture styles and products is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers from contact through delivery and beyond.
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to connect with a diverse customer base.
• Build relationships with customers independently and with the Interior Design Consultant.
• Reinforce customer selections and help complete the look of rooms.
• Provide product, service, and finance expertise based on customer needs.
