Job summary

La-Z-Boy Scranton is hiring a Sales Associate to drive store sales and deliver outstanding customer service. You will promote product knowledge, support design projects, and build lasting relationships with customers.

Training pay ranges from $15–$20/hour for 2–6 weeks, then post-training base pay plus uncapped commissions. Earnings potential commonly ranges from mid five figures depending on location and performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drives store sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promotes the Design program and assists the Designer to achieve goals.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow La-Z-Boy selling process.
• Schedule and conduct home consultations to present room designs and product recommendations.
• Assist in maintaining store appearance and inventory, and handle orders and payments.
