Job summary

La‑Z‑Boy Incorporated in Monroeville, PA seeks a Sales Associate to drive furniture sales through superb customer service and knowledge of the La‑Z‑Boy selling process. You will develop awareness of interior design and work with a Designer to deliver exceptional experiences.

The role offers Training Pay of $15 per hour for 2–6 weeks (no commissions; base rate varies by location). After training, Base Pay is $12.50/hour plus uncapped commissions and bonuses, with an average annual earning

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage time and conflicting priorities.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives Sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process and provide a positive customer experience.
• Build and maintain customer relationships for repeat business.
• Support design-related functions in the store.
• Open and close the store and maintain daily logs.
