Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Scranton is hiring a Sales Associate to drive store sales through exceptional customer service and knowledge of the La-Z-Boy selling process. You will promote the Design program, assist designers, and deliver a positive customer experience.

The role offers training pay and a post-training base with uncapped commissions, aiming for earnings up to $75,000+ including bonuses. This position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drives store sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program & assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Consistently execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Schedule professional home consultations and present customized room designs.
• Maintain store appearance, order information, deposits and customer records.
• Open and close the store and coordinate deliveries.
