Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Fort Collins is seeking a sales associate to drive store sales through exceptional service and in-depth knowledge of La‑Z‑Boy products and design process.

During training you earn $16 per hour for 2-6 weeks with no commissions; after training expect total earnings between $55,000 - $75,000+ including base and commission. This role supports store operations with a focus on customer satisfaction and design consultations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate, build rapport, and influence.
• Persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La‑Z‑Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to meet sales goals.
• Execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Develop and utilize sales skills including needs discovery, portfolio presentations, handling objections and closing.
• Maximize store promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and features.
