Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Denver is seeking a sales associate to drive furniture sales and design service adoption. You will deliver exceptional customer service, utilize the La-Z-Boy selling process, and help build long-term customer relationships through post-sale follow-up.

Training pays $20 per hour for 2-6 weeks with no commission; after training, average annual earnings range from $55,000 to $75,000+ including base pay and commissions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales by selling furniture, accessories and services offered by La-Z-Boy.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve design sales goals.
• Consistently execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and provide a positive customer experience.
• Develop and utilize sales skills including needs discovery, portfolio presentations, objections handling, closing and follow-up.
• Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs.
• Maintain knowledge of features and benefits of product lines and design services.
