Job summary

Rooms To Go is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate. You will greet customers, uncover furnishing needs, and drive sales through a consultative approach, using modern tools and a team-oriented environment.

You’ll operate in a fast-paced, customer-first setting with opportunities for commissions, benefits, and ongoing product training. The role requires flexibility across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays at our locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• Team player with motivation to succeed.
• Excellent listening with a positive attitude.
• 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred, but not required (will train the right candidate).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to use current electronic devices, such as tablets and touch screens.
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers.
• Uncover customer's home furnishing needs to help their design vision.
• Generate sales through a consultative approach.
• Build rapport with customers through strong interpersonal and listening skills.
• Encourage additional products to complete the room.
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals.
• Explain financing and protection plans.
• Demonstrate product value and benefits to meet customer needs.
