Job summary

La-Z-Boy stores seek individuals to drive sales through exceptional customer service and product knowledge. Training pay is $15–$20 per hour for 2–6 weeks, with base wages starting post-training and uncapped commissions designed to boost earnings.

Average annual earnings after training range from $35,000 to $75,000+, inclusive of base, bonus, and commission. The role emphasizes sales goals, design program promotion, and ongoing customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong selling experience and ability to close a sale preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to reach sales targets.
• Maintain deployment of La-Z-Boy selling process to deliver a quality customer experience.
• Develop sales skills from approach to closing and follow-up with customers.
