Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Sales Associate to drive store sales through exceptional customer service and in-depth knowledge of La-Z-Boy products and services. You will assist the Designer, present customized room designs, and schedule home consultations to help customers achieve beautiful, functional spaces.

Training starts at $15/hour for 2–6 weeks with no commissions; post-training base pay is $12.50/hour plus uncapped commissions on Design Sales (3%) and other sales (2%), plus a

• High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Schedule professional home consultations to present customized room designs with fabric and furniture recommendations.
• Maintain product knowledge and support design-related functions in-store and with customers.
• Use Podium to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-up; handle issues with appropriate solutions.
