Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated seeks a sales associate to drive store sales through exceptional customer service and deep knowledge of La-Z-Boy products and services. You will support a Design program, present customized room designs, and help clients select furniture and accessories.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate, build rapport, and influence.
• Persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage time and conflicting priorities.
• Team orientation and collaboration.
• Ability to work varied hours incl. evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program & assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a favorable customer experience.
• Develop sales skills including approach, needs discovery, objections handling, closing and follow-up.
• Maximize store promotions and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of product features and benefits.
