Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in the United States seeks a results-driven Sales Associate to drive store sales of furniture, accessories and services while guiding customers through the design process and delivering outstanding customer service.

Training pay is $15 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commissions; base rate varies by location). After training, base pay starts at $11/hour with UNCAPPED commissions and bonuses, aiming for an annual earning range of $40,000–$70,000+.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work to schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to meet sales goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience using the selling process.
• Train and coach peers on product knowledge and selling skills.
• Maintain store appearance and manage orders, deposits, and customer records.
