Job summary

Havertys is seeking a Retail Furniture Sales Consultant to assist customers in selecting furniture, create welcoming spaces, and meet sales goals. The role includes paid training, uncapped commission with guaranteed income and potential earnings of $55,000–$100,000+ per year. Daily Pay, 401K with company match, comprehensive benefits, and generous PTO are offered.

Evening/weekend shifts are required. You'll interface with customers through our CRM system, help clients through the entire purchase

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple customer communications.
• Positive and engaging personality.
• Creative flair and energetic attitude.
• Proficient in resolving customer objections and ensuring satisfaction.
• Familiarity with furniture styles; product knowledge preferred.
• Computer proficiency including email; MS Office; tablet operation preferred.
• Relevant experience preferred but not required.
• HS diploma or GED; 1–3 years retail experience; commissioned sales preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers from contact through delivery and beyond.
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Build relationships with customers independently and with Interior Design Consultant support.
• Reinforce customer selections and assist in completing the room look.
• Provide product, service, and finance expertise based on customer needs.
• Use company tablets and CRM system for communication and follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of a broad range of furniture styles and products.
