Havertys seeks a Retail Furniture Sales Consultant to guide customers from discovery to delivery, helping them design inviting homes. You will earn commission with a guaranteed income and participate in a paid training program that teaches our product line and service approach.

This role emphasizes linking customers to our interior design resources and leveraging Havertys technology to capture and follow up with clients. Flexible weekend hours support store performance and customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer communications.
• Positive and engaging personality.
• Creative flair and energetic attitude.
• Proficient in resolving customer objections and ensuring satisfaction.
• Familiarity with a broad range of furniture styles.
• Proficient computer skills including email; MS Office; tablet operation preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience or college education preferred.
• Interior Design is highly desired.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent service to customers from contact through delivery.
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Build relationships with customers independently and with Interior Design Consultant.
• Reinforce customer selections and assist in completing room looks.
• Provide product, service, and finance expertise based on customer needs.
• Use company-provided tablets and Havertys CRM system with follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of a broad range of furniture styles.
