Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc is seeking a Retail Furniture Sales Consultant to assist customers in selecting furniture, understand needs, and create a welcoming home. You will deliver exceptional service, meet sales goals, and collaborate with an interior design consultant as part of our Design program.

We offer paid training, an uncapped commission with guaranteed income, Daily Pay, 401K with 4% match, comprehensive benefits, PTO, and valuable employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer communications.
• Positive and engaging personality.
• Proficient in resolving customer objections and ensuring satisfaction.
• Familiarity with a broad range of furniture styles and products preferred.
• College education preferred; HS/GED or 1–3 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers from contact through delivery and beyond.
• Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Build relationships with customers independently and with Design consultant.
• Reinforce customer selections and assist in completing the look of their rooms.
• Provide product, service, and finance expertise based on customer needs.
• Utilize tablets and Havertys CRM for client communication and follow-up.
• Maintain knowledge of a broad range of furniture styles and products.
