Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Port Charlotte, FL seeks a sales associate to drive sales with exceptional customer service and knowledge of the La-Z-Boy selling process. You will help customers create beautiful spaces and develop awareness of interior design through practical experience with a La-Z-Boy Designer.

Training Pay: $16 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commissions; base rate varies by location). Average Annual Earning Potential After Training: $45,000 - $65,000+ (base, bonus, and commission).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong sales ability and closing skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proficient with standard office software and store systems.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales and contributes to store sales goals.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process and provide a positive customer experience.
• Develop product knowledge and present customized room designs.
