Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Monroeville is seeking a sales-focused associate to drive furniture sales and create enduring customer relationships. You will use our Design process to present customized rooms, coordinate with designers, and ensure a positive shopping experience.

This role emphasizes high-energy selling, exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy retail environment. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program & assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Consistently execute the selling process and provide a favorable experience to customers.
• Develop and utilize sales skills including approach, rapport, needs discovery, and closing.
