Job summary

Ashley Furniture HomeStore is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative for a part-time role in Maryland. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, process orders, handle payments, and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely, accurate service.

Your day-to-day includes updating open orders, maintaining a customer-friendly showroom, and collaborating with sales and office teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and listening skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders accurately into the company system.
• Process payments and ensure transactions are applied to correct accounts.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment per policy.
• Prepare daily deposits and answer incoming calls professionally.
• Schedule deliveries and update customers on order status.
• Support showroom operations and assist Office Manager as needed.
