Principal Financial Group seeks a Funds Specialist for our Law department to coordinate, format, and submit SEC filings through EDGAR. You will work with Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Compliance to gather disclosures and ensure accuracy under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include preparing filings, formatting documents (HTML, XBRL, iXBRL), proofreading for consistency, and maintaining meticulous records. Strong communication and discretion with financial data are essential.

Formación

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with SEC filings using EDGAR filing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurately under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with SEC filing software, preferably Workiva.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and submit SEC filings (N-1A, N-2, N-14, Proxy Statements) through EDGAR.
• Format and convert documents into SEC-compliant formats (HTML, XBRL, iXBRL).
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Accounting, and Compliance to gather disclosures.
• Ensure filings are accurate, complete, and timely per SEC regulations.
• Review and proofread filings for consistency and completeness.
• Maintain organized records of filings and submissions.
• Stay current on SEC filing requirements and EDGAR updates.
