Job summary

Fund Services Group in the United States seeks a Financial Reporting Senior Associate to deliver fund financial statements and SEC filings, applying U.S. GAAP and SEC standards.

You will support DFIN ActiveDisclosure implementations and collaborate with clients, auditors, and internal teams to ensure timely reporting with high quality. The role emphasizes process improvement, meticulous documentation, and strong client service.

Qualifications

• 3 - 7 years of hands-on experience preparing fund financial reports for non-public funds and SEC filings for registered investment companies.
• Experience implementing and improving processes that enhance quality, consistency, and efficiency.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and financial statement presentation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, prepare, and document accurate fund financial statements and SEC filings on Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings, as required.
• Play a significant role in standing up DFIN ActiveDisclosure and in implementing and enhancing controls over the financial reporting process.
• Support team members with strong commitment to quality, accountability, and client service.
• Stay current on FASB and SEC reporting requirements, filings, and best practices and incorporate relevant changes into client filings and processes.
• Coordinate with clients, auditors, counsel, and internal teams to deliver complete, accurate and timely reporting and filings.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation, technology, and operational efficiencies.
