Responsibilities

• Plan and secure the annual private giving goal for Sumter County in partnership with leadership.
• Develop and implement the fundraising plan with dollar goals, objectives, and strategies.
• Assist Board members with annual personal development plans.
• Maintain donor contacts and donor database records.
• Identify prospective donors and obtain current contact information.
• Promote Coalition programs and success stories via media.
• Track, record, and report fundraising communications with accuracy.
• Present to community groups.
• Plan speaker’s bureau trainings for volunteers.
• Provide event information for the Coalition website and keep it current.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; cooperate with staff to meet goals.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information.
