Job summary

The Donor Database Coordinator is a member of the Resource Development Team and provides administrative support to assist in the resource development campaigns and projects in each of the counties the Coalition serves.

Responsibilities include donor research, posting donations to E-Tapestry, reconciling with QuickBooks, producing monthly reports by county and program, and supporting fundraising events and grant proposals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with donor databases and fundraising tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication; data confidentiality required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prospect and donor research to support campaigns and boards.
  • Post donations daily into E-Tapestry and issue thank-you notes the same day.
  • Reconcile E-Tapestry entries with QuickBooks for month-end accuracy.
  • Generate monthly contribution reports by county, program, and donor.
  • Develop materials for fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Research potential funding sources and assist grant proposals.

Job Summary

The Donor Database Coordinator is a member of the Resource DevelopmentTeam and provides administrative support to assist in the resource developmentcampaigns and projects in each of the counties the Coalition serves.

Resource Development
  • 1.Provideprospect and donor research to Coalition staff and volunteers as needed for thepurpose of ensuring that resource development lists and donor profiles that theCoalition uses are current, accurate, and as complete as possible.
  • 2.Postdonations daily into E-Tapestry and generate appropriate thank you notes thesame day as the gift was received.
  • 3.ReconcileE-Tapestry entries to QuickBooks entries and ensure accuracy immediatelyfollowing month end.
  • 4.Generatemonthly contribution reports by county, by program, by constituency, and bydonors. Have these available forpresentation to the organization’s various boards.
  • 5.Developmaterials for various fundraising events or campaigns.
  • 6.Designand prepare special event or campaign reports, tracking both income and relatedexpenses.
  • 7.Conductresearch into potential funding sources as well as data and issue-relatedinformation for grant proposals.
  • 8.Maintaincurrent data on donors; research news media for related information and add todatabase.
  • 9.Developreports for the County Chapter Boards, assist Executive Director in meetingpreparation, attend Chapter meetings and take minutes.
  • 10.Workclosely with the Executive Director and Chapter Board on any development campaignsor fundraising events. Conduct research, provide prospect data, maintainprogress reports, and help to plan and organize events.

  • 1.Adhere to PDC’s vision, mission, andphilosophy.
  • 2.Attend appropriate training workshopsand conferences.
  • 3.Attend organizational staff meetingsand other meetings upon request.
  • 4.Abide by and meet all applicable grantrequirements and objectives.
  • 5.Maintain confidentiality of andprivacy of donors and service recipients.
  • 6.Meet other needs as identified by the ExecutiveDirector and/or Management Team.
  • 7.Ensure Executive Director is madeaware of issues that may affect the Coalition.
Requirements
  • 1.High school diploma or GED isrequired; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 2.SC SLED Criminal Record, Sex OffenderRegistry, and DSS Central Registry clearance.
  • 3.Valid SC Driver’s license.
  • 4.Experience in resource development
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • 1.Fundamental knowledge of familyviolence and sexual assault.
  • 2.Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills.
  • 3.Have and maintain a good drivingrecord (verified by DMV report at time of hire), a reliable vehicle, and proofof liability insurance.
  • 4.Experience in E-Tapestry- DonorDatabase System.
  • 5.Proficiency in MS Office applicationsincluding Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Office365.
  • 6.Experience with graphics software suchas Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is desirable.
  • 7.Experience in Bulk Mailing.
