Job summary

Pee Dee Coalition is seeking a Resource Development Coordinator to lead planning and securing the annual private giving goal for Chesterfield County, in partnership with the Board and coalition partners. The role focuses on fundraising strategies, donor engagement, and program promotion.

Responsibilities include donor prospecting, maintaining donor records, community presentations, and coordinating with staff to ensure timely communications and event support. Flexibility with hours may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the annual fundraising plan with goals and strategies for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting gifts.
• Identify prospective donors and secure current contact information.
• Promote Coalition programs and success stories via social and traditional media.
• Maintain donor databases and ensure timely, accurate communications to donors and volunteers.
• Coordinate with the Board and staff to support resource development goals.
• Provide presentations to community groups and train volunteers as needed.
