Tobii Dynavox is seeking a Funding Consultant to coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of new product, repair, and equipment rental orders. You will work with SLPs, government agencies, and educational institutions to obtain order authorization and ensure documents meet third party payer criteria.

Key responsibilities include maintaining communication with funding entities, tracking authorizations, and advising clients on co-payments, with strong emphasis on accuracy and timely processing

Formación

• Bachelor degree or 2-4 years related experience.
• Background in the health insurance field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain communication with SLPs on funding cases and instruct on document prep and policies.
• Collaborate with insurance providers, government agencies, and educational institutions to place orders.
• Track funding authorization cases to completion in a timely manner.
• Use online resources and maintain frequent communication with funding agencies to verify eligibility.
• Review prior authorization documents against third party payer criteria.
• Research previous orders and payment history/DSOs for repair or new orders.
• Enter and complete orders in the order management system database.
• Advise clients and families on funding requests and co-payment requirements with third party insurers.
• Resolve third party denials and provide consultation to finalize difficult funding cases.
• Notify supervisor of potential third-party payer challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
