Job summary

Tobii Dynavox is seeking a Funding Coordinator in the United States to coordinate intake, submission, and follow-up of funding orders for products, repairs, and rentals. You will work with SLPs, government agencies, and schools to meet payer criteria and ensure timely processing.

The role requires a bachelor degree or related experience, with a background in health insurance preferred. Salary is $24/hour with comprehensive benefits and a chance to impact lives daily.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 2–4 years related experience.
• Background in health insurance field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication with SLPs on funding cases and instruct on document prep and policies.
• Work with insurance providers, government agencies, and educational institutions to place new product, repair or rental orders.
• Track funding authorization cases to completion in a timely manner.
• Verifiy eligibility via online resources and funding agencies.
• Review prior authorization documents against third party payer criteria.
• Research previous orders and payment history/DSOs for repair or new orders.
• Enter and complete orders in the order management system database.
• Advocate for clients by communicating with clients and families on funding requests and co-payments, representing cases with insurers.
• Resolve third party denials and provide consultation to finalize funding cases.
• Alert supervisor of potential third-party payer challenges.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
