Job summary

Capital Group seeks a Fundamental Research Group Associate to collaborate with Investment Professionals and deliver bottom-up fundamental research and analysis that informs investment decisions. You will model companies, analyze industries, and help generate ideas while supporting management meetings and research trips.

You will cover a diverse universe including small- and mid-cap names, with familiarity in finance, programming (Python/SQL) and data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, consulting, accounting or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, STEM or related field.
• Familiarity with Python/SQL, data visualization tools, and data platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bottom-up fundamental research and analysis to drive investment decisions.
• Collaborate with Investment Professionals and peers on coverage and research ideas.
• Model companies and related industries and draft insightful reports.
