Job summary

Capital Group seeks a Fundamental Research Group (FRG) Associate to collaborate with Fixed Income Investment Professionals and peers to deliver bottom-up research and investment ideas. You will conduct in-depth fundamental analysis on companies and industries, build financial models, and facilitate meetings with management teams and sell-side firms.

You will grow with increasing project complexity under mentorship.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in credit research (high-yield preferred).
• Strong financial modeling and credit analysis abilities.
• Experienced with Bloomberg and research tools.
• Ability to develop charts and visualizations for investment insights.
• Strong written and oral communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bottom-up fundamental credit research and analysis.
• Drive investment ideas and monitor holdings.
• Collaborate with Fixed Income professionals and peers.
• Present findings to investment teams and management.
