Capital Group in Southern California is seeking a Fundamental Research Group (FRG) Associate to perform bottom-up credit research and financial analysis. You will collaborate with Fixed Income Investment Professionals, model issuers’ credit risk, and monitor holdings to help drive investment ideas.

You hold 2–5 years in credit research, with Bloomberg and data tools in your toolkit, and you communicate insights with clear visuals. A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or STEM is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, STEM or a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of experience in credit research, with preference for high-yield corporate credit.
• Strong financial modeling and fundamental credit analysis; experience with research tools and data sources such as Bloomberg.

• Deliver bottom-up fundamental credit research and analysis on companies and industries.
• Develop and maintain financial models, monitor holdings, and assess capital structures.
