Job summary

Capital Group in New York is seeking a Fundamental Research Group Associate to work closely with Investment Professionals to drive deep research on long-term biotech issues and generate ideas for clients. You will monitor holdings, analyze companies and related industries, and contribute to the investment process.

The role requires a MD or PhD, at least 2 years of investment research, strong statistical skills, financial modeling, and the ability to leverage AI tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of investment research experience in buy-side or sell-side roles.
• MD or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline; laboratory experience preferred for MD.
• Proven track record of top academic and professional performance.
• Ability to analyze clinical trials, mechanisms of action, and predictive value.

Responsibilities
