Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Insurance Claims Manager to lead our claims department from anywhere in the United States. You will oversee the end-to-end claims process, drive efficiency, and ensure customer satisfaction while managing a distributed team of claims professionals.

Responsibilities include developing policies, monitoring performance metrics, guiding settlements, and optimizing workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field.
• 7+ years in insurance claims, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
• Experience managing claims operations and teams, preferably remotely.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in claims management software and technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of claims adjusters and support staff.
• Develop and implement claims handling policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Monitor claims performance metrics, identify trends, and implement improvement strategies.
• Ensure efficient and equitable settlements in line with policy terms and regulations.
• Manage relationships with external service providers, such as loss adjusters and legal counsel.
• Oversee claims budget and resource allocation.
