Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Insurance Claims Handler to join its fully remote team serving clients nationwide. You will manage the full lifecycle of claims, from initial notification through settlement, communicating clearly with policyholders from your home office.

The ideal candidate has experience in insurance claims or customer service, solid knowledge of policy documents, and proficiency with claims software and office tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance claims handling or related customer service.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles and policy documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a customer-centric approach.
• Proficiency with claims management software and standard office tools.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log new insurance claims, verifying policy coverage.
• Communicate with policyholders to gather information and provide updates.
• Assess validity and extent of claims per policy terms.
• Process claim payments accurately and promptly.
• Maintain detailed electronic records of all claim activities and correspondence.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to resolve complex claims.
