Job summary

Veta Virtual is seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Software Engineer to build secure, high-performance fintech systems across the stack, from backend services to frontend experiences with Next.js and React. You will design robust APIs, implement OAuth 2.0 authentication, operate in a microservices architecture on AWS, and contribute to security, observability, and reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience with Golang or Java backend services.
• Proficiency with Node.js / TypeScript v5.
• Experience building frontend apps with Next.js/React/TypeScript.
• Strong RESTful API design skills.
• Solid PostgreSQL experience.
• AWS environment familiarity.
• Experience with microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across frontend and backend.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs for onboarding, authentication, transactions, and workflows.
• Build and enhance frontend experiences in customer-facing and internal apps.
• Integrate systems with third-party services and providers.
• Implement secure OAuth 2.0 authentication/authorization.
• Work in a microservices environment to deliver scalable backend capabilities.
• Ensure security, performance, reliability, and observability with monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.
