Job summary

Veta Virtual is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer for a fintech client, focusing on secure, scalable systems across the stack from backend to frontend in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.

You will design, build, and maintain backend APIs with Golang/Java, and create frontend experiences with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, all while ensuring security, observability, and reliable deployments in AWS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Backend services in Golang and/or Java.
• Frontend development with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across frontend and backend.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs supporting onboarding, authentication, transactions, and workflows.
• Build and enhance front-end experiences in customer-facing and internal apps.
• Integrate systems with third-party services and external providers.
• Implement secure authentication/authorization using OAuth 2.0.
• Work in a microservices environment for scalable backend capabilities.
• Ensure security, performance, reliability, and observability including monitoring.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation.
