Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in the transportation industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and shippers to ensure their freight needs are met.
• Negotiate contract terms and rates with carriers.
• Coordinate and manage the transportation and movement of goods.
• Utilize logistics software to manage freight schedules, track shipments, and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations related to freight transportation.
• Handle the billing and invoicing for freight services.
• Identify and solve logistical problems to prevent delays.
• Maintain detailed records of all transactions, correspondences, and documentation.
