Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Activity Worker to support and enhance programs for children aged 6–12. The role involves leading activities under licensing guidelines, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality youth development programs at multiple club sites.

The position offers full-time hours (minimum 30 per week) with comprehensive benefits and potential site rotations to maintain coverage and service across the region.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older and able to drive an 8-passenger van.
• First Aid/CPR Certification, or certification within two months of hire.
• Must possess a School Age Site Assistant Certificate from the Department of Education.
• Must possess a School Age Site Coordinator Administrator certificate from the Department of Education.

Responsibilities

• Lead member recruitment and program development for youth ages 6–12.
• Evaluate and improve program activities to align with core program areas.
• Develop partnerships with parents, school faculty, and community members to support youth.
