Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware seeks a Youth Activity Worker for a full-time, non-exempt role. The position requires at least 30 hours per week with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 30 scheduled hours per week for full‑time role.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for school‑age childcare centers.
• Level Two/Three certification requirements for site operations.
• First Aid/CPR certification or completion within two months of hire.
• Must be able to drive an 8-passenger van with a valid license and minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Lead member recruitment, program development and evaluation within Youth Development Strategy.
• Deliver age‑appropriate programs reflecting core program areas for ages 6–12.
• Supervise children and maintain safe, compliant activities across sites.
• Build partnerships with parents, school staff, and community supporters.
