Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Activity Worker to support club operations for children aged 6–12. The role is full-time, nonexempt, with scheduled hours and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401K, and paid time off.

The position may require float between sites within the region to ensure adequate coverage. Core duties include leading programs, directing youth activities, recruiting members, and supporting community outreach and professional

Qualifications

• Must possess a School Age Site Assistant Certificate from the Department of Education
• Must possess a School Age Site Coordinator Administrator certificate from the Department of Education
• 20 years of age or older and ability to drive 8 passenger van (must have valid driver’s license with less than 5 points)
• First Aid/CPR Certification, or completion of certification within two months of date of hire.

• Evaluate programs and provide professional development
• Coordinate community outreach and partnerships
• Supervise children and maintain safety in accordance with licensing regulations
• Attend to training requirements and ensure adherence to policy
