Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a Youth Activity Worker for a full-time, nonexempt position with at least 30 scheduled hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, and time off).

The role involves leading and evaluating age-appropriate programs for children ages 6–12, recruiting members, coordinating activities, and building partnerships with parents and schools.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR Certification or completion within two months of hire.
• Minimum age 20 and ability to drive 8-passenger van (valid license, <5 points).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of age-appropriate programs (ages 6–12) per guidelines and licensing requirements.
• Supervise children and youth following program policies and safety standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with parents, school staff, and community partners.
• Present a positive role model and support organizational presence in the community.
